Edition #194
Hello Ambitious Ladies!💃🏽❤️
There are moments in every business when we know exactly what we want to say, but somehow struggle to put it into words.
We know what we do, we know why it matters, we know the problem we’re trying to solve.
Yet when someone asks, “So, what exactly do you do?”, the answer suddenly becomes five minutes long. 😅
We start explaining the product, the process, the backstory, the customers, the vision and everything else we think they need to know.
And somewhere along the way, the most important message gets buried.
→ This matters because words don’t just communicate what we do. They shape what people understand, remember and act on. 🌟
✔️ A clear sentence can start a conversation.
✔️ A good pitch can open a door.
✔️ A thoughtful message can turn a stranger into a customer.
✔️ A confident ask can create an opportunity that wasn’t there yesterday.
That makes communication much more than a visibility exercise. 🔊
It is a business-building skill.💪🏽
As we continue our Lead journey, we arrive at the Throat Chakra, the centre of communication, expression, truth, influence, and eventually impact!
Its reminder this week is simple.
Words Create Momentum.🌊
The right words can move an idea from your head into someone else’s world.
They can help people understand your value, remember your business and know exactly what to do next.
So this week, pause and ask yourself:
→ If I had only one sentence to explain my business, what would I want people to remember?
Let’s go ahead and Lead from the Throat by delving into this week’s signature 1 Tip · 1 Tool · 1 Technique now.🙂🩵🙌🏽
🏹1 Tip: Say Less, Mean More 🏹
When you’re close to your business, it is tempting to explain everything - and we understand this 😁
But your customer doesn’t need your entire business story, your history and lots of twists and winds, before they understand your value. 🙅🏽♀️
→ Start with the simplest version of what you do, who you do it for and why it matters. 🌟
🔥 BossMa Hot Tip: Don’t explain your business. Give people a sentence they can steal. If they can repeat it accurately to someone else, you’ve nailed your message. 🎯
1 Tool: The One-Sentence Test
Write one branded, punchy sentence that answers these three questions:
Who do you help?
What do you help them do?
What makes your approach useful or different?
Now read that sentence you wrote aloud. Does it make sense, and flows well?
Would a stranger understand what you do without asking you five more questions?
If not, keep simplifying until they can.
🔥 BossMa Hot Tip: Keep testing the sentence, its refined versions on prospects, customers, partners, peers, at events, meetups, everywhere you go for work, until it is tight, flows naturally, is memorable and punchy! 😊👊🏽
🌌1 Technique: The Say-It-Three-Ways Test🌌
Take your one-sentence business message and say it three different ways:
→ To a customer: Why should they care?
→ To a potential partner: Why might they want to work with you?
→ To a friend: How would you explain it naturally over coffee?
The business hasn’t changed.
Only the language. intent and emphasis have changed.
That’s the skill we are picking up this week for us and our super businesses!😊💪🏽
→ Good communication isn’t about having one perfect script. It is knowing how to make your message land with the person listening, and remembering you/ your business long after!
🔥 Hot Tip: Say your pitch out loud instead of only reading it on screen. You’ll hear the words that sound unnatural much faster than you’ll spot them on paper. 🔊
What’s Brewing This Week☕
Try NariBot™ on WhatsApp🤖👸🏽
This week, use NariBot to work on the words you use to describe your business.
Don’t just ask it to write your pitch. Have a conversation with it and refine the message until it actually sounds like you.
Ask NariBot:
Hi NariBot,
I run a <business type, sector, stage> business.
Here is how I currently explain what I do: <add your branded, punchy sentence here>
Help me make this clearer and more compelling without making it sound complicated or salesy.
💡 Prompting Tip: Tell NariBot who you’re speaking to and where you’ll use the message, such as a WhatsApp introduction, networking event, website or investor conversation. It can then help you shape the same idea for different situations.
Want to know how NariBot responds so accurately about your business and income growth?🤩☀️
Your business has a story, a journey and probably far more to say than anyone could absorb in one conversation.
But your job isn’t to say everything.
It is to say what matters clearly enough that people understand it, remember it and can carry it forward. 💙
So this week, notice the words you use, sharpen the ones that matter and let NariBot help you test them from another perspective.
Because when your message becomes clearer, your ideas travel further, your conversations get easier and your business gets easier to remember. 🚀
Let’s Lead from the Throat by saying less that gets lost, and more that moves. 💪🏽🏹
